布袋｜火燈夜巡
火燈夜巡是布袋過溝地區在農曆七月前特有的宗教民俗活動，百年來凝聚了東安、中安、西安里的居民。
作品以三元無限循環的符號，與迴旋向上併攏的火苗，象徵綿延不斷的傳承與居民團結的意志。太極球體象徵道教科儀的核心價值，神鬼人三界和諧共存，與生生不息的涵意。九十九枝火意指多至不可數的人數與意志，與此無形文化資產相傳至世世代代的見證。
Fire and Lantern Night Parade” is the unique religious and folk practice in the Guogou area of Budai before the seventh month of the lunar calendar. It has united the residents of Dongan Village, Zhongan Village, and Xian Village in the past hundred years.
The symbol of the infinite cycle of three elements and the flames spiraling upward in the work signify the continuous inheritance and residents’ unity. The Tai Chi spheroid symbolizes the core value of the Taoist rituals, the harmonious coexistence of the gods, the ghosts, and people, and the meaning of the circle of life. The 99 flames mean the countless number of people and their wills and serve as the witness to the intangible cultural asset that will be passed on from generation to generation.

共創故事
傳承百年的「火燈夜巡」凝聚著布袋過溝居民的向心力，延續家家戶戶自製火燈參與夜巡的傳統，藝術家設計了藝術化造型的火燈，工作坊中邀請居民以竹子及類竹片面材，編織捆札成一把把又美又穩固的燈炬，成為裝置作品中象徵眾志成城的九十九隻火把。
The century-old tradition of the 'Fire Lantern Night Parade' strengthens the community spirit of Guogou residents in Budai, continuing the practice of each household crafting their own fire lanterns for the parade.The artist has designed artistic fire lanterns and, in the workshop, invited residents to weave beautiful and sturdy torches using bamboo and bamboo-like materials. These will form 99 symbolic torches in the installation, representing the collective strength and unity of the community.
